Kiran Kumar wrote the dialogues for Wild Dog, and Shaneil Deo directed the film’s cinematography. Daviid Ismalone, who has previously worked on foreign films such as Fast & Furious 7, A Man Will Rise, and Ong- Bak: Muay Thai Warrior, has choreographed the film’s intense action scenes.
Wild Dog was recently released on Netflix, the world’s largest streaming service, allowing everyone to watch the critically acclaimed film in the comfort of their own homes. Not only that, but the film is available in four different languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. While the Telugu version of Wild Dog is the most popular in India, the Tamil version is in fifth place. It’s also been learned that the film received the most views among all south Indian films in a short period of time.
Good reviews may not have won the film any awards at the box office, but they are having a positive effect on OTT. Wild Dog was preferred to impress viewers due to Nagarjuna’s action-packed performance as NIA Agent, director Ashishor Solomon’s intensive research on the story and engaging narration, as well as brilliant work from the entire technical team. Furthermore, the film, which depicts a number of terrorist incidents that occurred in India, including the Gokul Chat bombing in 2007, comes under the category of patriotic films, and thus the entire country expressed interest in seeing it.
